Burswood casino, Perth
In terms of casino, it's novel and new to me. There's no casino in Taiwan, I've never been to any casino overseas.
Before entering it, some bodyguards will check your ID to make sure your identification and your looks must be formal. For example, wearing sandals is prohibited. To take a picture in the casino is not allowed as well. Don't forget to join the member in the reception, they will give you $2 for bet in Burswood. (a suburb of Perth)
Once you go inside, you can choose any kind of game whatever you want to play, machine, black jack, poker,.. etc. I was afraid of being hard to communicate with the dealer and not understand the rule of the game, therefore I only played the machine.
While I was playing, an old aussie female was sitting beside me. We had a happy chat with each other. She originally lived in Tasmania which is the biggest island in the south-east of Australia and very cold during the winter. That's why she settled down to WA to have a different life after retirement from the government.
By the $2 the casino gave me, I won $7 at most. Actually I had thought about "Quit while you're ahead", but I wanna to talk to her. Finally, I lost all the money I won, included the bet. That's all right, it didn't belong to me. After losing all my money, the lady did an action that made me amzing, she gave me a cup of money. I guessd it's around $20-$30. I told her, I couldn't take it.
For the sake of thanking for her generosity, I gave her a souvenir which is a ornament with tow Chinese words on it.
She took me to find her husband, introducted me to him and invited me to have dinner with them. What I was thinking was that eating out in Australia is quite expensive, I wasn't sure if they'd treat me or not. Treat, I couldn't accept it, go Dutch, too pricy, I didn't wanna waste my money. I said goodbye to them.
