Even though it is Winter, the temperature might be more than thirty degree. In Mindil beach, you can't see anyone playing in the water or surfers surfing on the wave, the sea surface here was extremely calm. People here chatted in group with food on their hands and enjoyed the orange sunset. The others kept pressing camera shutter against people and the sunset. There is a kind of box jellyfish around this sea area, that's the reason no one swims here. Australian like surfing and swimming very much. (Wiki: Box jellyfish are best known for the extremely powerful venom possessed by some of their species. Box jellyfish venom is the most deadly in the animal kingdom and has caused at least 5,568 recorded deaths since 1954.)
就算是冬天，溫度依然能到達三十度以上。在 Mindil 海灘 看不到在水裡戲水的人群、看不見玩浪的沖浪者，海面異常的平靜。人們各自成群聊著天，手上拿著美食一邊欣賞著橘紅色的落日。另一群人則是不停的對著日落和人們按起快門。遊客不下水的原因是這裡的海域有一種立方水母。澳洲人可是超愛沖浪、玩水的。（維基：澳洲箱形水母是世界最毒的動物，其重要特徵是傘體呈立體箱形狀以及有四條較粗壯的觸手，它的刺細胞所釋出的毒性比眼鏡蛇還要毒，可以讓人在幾分鐘內死亡。 ）

This beach is famous for it's sunset market. It located within a 15-20 minutes walk from the city and started in 1987 with just 40 stalls. I think it attracts lots of people, business and stalls since it suits for sunset seeing. It runs during the Dry season, every year from May to October, on Thursdays(5PM to 10PM) and Saturdays(4PM to 9PM), the markets have more than 60 stalls offering international cuisine, from Turkey, Greece, Sri Lanka, Asia, etc. It's a great place to pass time due to the live street music and over 200 stalls.
這個海灘是因為這裡的日落夜市而聞名。距離市區約十五至二十分鐘的路程。在一九八七年成立初期，只有四十個攤販。我想也是因為適合看日落，才會吸引大量的人潮、商機與攤販。每年的五月至十月之間的週四（晚上五點至十點）及週六（晚上四點至九點），有超過六十個以上的美食攤位，提供世界各國的不同食物，土耳其、希臘、斯里蘭卡、亞洲等。現場音樂表演以及將近兩百個攤位絕對是個消磨時間的好地方。

An announcement on the wire pole in Darwin

When I was in Australia, I rarely payed attention the advertisements or announcements on the wire poles. I have no idea what I was thinking in that day. On the way to the state library in Darwin, I stopped and watched the announcement on the wire pole. Read it roughly and moved toward the library. But I thought it's fun so I was back to it again and photoed it. At the same time, there was a lady watching at me, I reckoned she was curious what I was watching and had a picture. After I left, she moved to the pole and read the announcement.
在澳洲時，我通常都不太會注意電線杆上的廣告。那一天不知怎樣，心血來潮。在前往州立圖書館的路上，停下來看了一張貼在電線杆上的公告。大概瞄了一下，就閃人。走到一半，想一想還蠻有趣的，又跑回去把它給拍了下來。同一時間，我看到另一外西方女士注視著我，或許對我的舉動好奇，我走了之後，她也跑去電線杆那。

The announcement is talking about the owner of a portable notebook Acer Aspire one which was stolen from the car by someone. The files inside are priceless though the notebook isn't pretty expensive around $AU 400. There are his diary, the videos of his bungy-jumping and skydiving (The video of skydiving is pricey, you have to extra fee for the video, at least $AU 100-200). A person usually experiences the skydiving once, it's really unusual. Not all the people have the chance to take it and dare to. When I was in Sydney, I considered to have a skydiving with my housemates, but I'd found a bad news on the Internet which happened one month ago before I went jumping. (The solo jumper died because of the fractured pelvis and collapsed lung). That's the reason I gave up. I wasn't brave enough and always though of the height from which I'd jump (1,4000 ft, 4,000 KM, it's the height of the YuShan Mt. in Taiwan which is the highest mountain in the East-Asia)
公告的內容主要是說，一位人兄，他的 Acer Aspire One 筆電，放在汽車裡被人家幹走。雖然小筆電大約一萬初頭，但是裡面的東西是無價的，有他的個人日記、高空彈跳和跳傘的錄影（跳傘錄影費用也不便宜，通常都是跳傘費用再另外加一筆錄影費用，少說也要一、二百澳幣，大約二、三千台幣以上）。跳傘真的是很難得的體驗，一生大概就跳這一次，也不是人人有機會、人人敢跳。小弟在雪梨時，本來考慮和室友一起去跳的，不過不小心在網路上看到，在前一個月才有人因為跳傘而掛掉（骨盆碎裂、肺部萎縮），於是放棄了。想到要從一萬四千英尺（約四千公里，玉山的高度），連報名的勇氣都沒了。

As to the guy who posted the announcement, he didn't expect that his notebook would be back again, just hoped that the stealer would see his post, burn the files and mail to him. The victim would even award the people sending the files back. The stealer got the notebook but also had a present once he burned the files for the victim, it's unbelieveable. Maybe, the victim set a trap for the stealer. The people sending the files back must be related to the stealer.
再回到那位人兄，他也不奢求筆電能回來，只希望小偷能將他的回憶燒到光碟裡面並寄給他。而且他還會給予獎賞。偷了人家的筆電還可以獲得小禮物，這…。說不定是被偷的人設下的陷井呢。

I can understand the victim whose notebook was stolen, If my pictures and videos taking in Australia were gone, I would be very sad. In the last months of my trip in Australia, I always carried the notebook which is around 1.X kilograms with me whenever I strolled around the street s or took tours.
我可以體會這位受害者的心情，如果我在澳洲拍的照片和影片就這樣不見，一定也會非常難過。在我旅行的後面幾個月，無論我去逛街還是跟團旅遊，我都隨身背著我的一點多公斤的筆電。Orz。
